The University of Sydney is inviting academically excellent students who are classified as overseas students, to apply for the Vice-Chancellor International Scholarships Scheme. This scholarship supports high-achieving international students to pursue coursework studies at the University of Sydney.

 

The scholarship winners will also be invited to support the programme in which they are enrolled and to represent the University of Sydney at student orientation, marketing activities and corporate networking events.

 

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

 
  • The candidate must be an international student.
  • The applicant must have applied for but not yet commenced a CRICOS-registered bachelor’s degree or master’s by coursework degree, which is delivered face-to-face (not online) in Australia.
  • The applicant must have received an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant close date.
  • Applicants commencing a second degree at the University of Sydney are eligible provided they have not previously held the Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarships.

 

Acceptable Courses and Subjects

The scholarships are open to studying bachelor’s or master’s  degree program in the following fields:

  • Advertisements
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Communications
  • Engineering
  • Economics
  • Environment
  • Visual Studies
  • Health
  • Humanities
  • Music
  • Various

 

Step 1: Apply for Admission

To apply, applicants are requested to take admission in bachelor’s or master’s degree program at the University of Sydney. You must apply before the closing date.

 

Step 2: Apply for a Scholarship

You must also complete a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships Scheme  Statement and upload it, together with your documents application form, by the deadline.
